Scripture: Habakkuk 3:17-19, 2 Corinthians 4:7-11
Expectations of our normal routines are usually taken for granted. But when they fail, it can become a crisis. Sometimes we ask why God allows terrible things to happen. But we live in a corrupt world with many evil people. Fear can overtake us when all the things we think are dependable are removed from us. Even so, we can choose to rejoice in the dependency of God. Our joy in God should not be based on the material blessings he provides to us.
