There are many types of storms in our lives. Sometimes these lead us to lose hope. God gives us the example of comparing us to oak trees. They start out as a small acorn but grow into a mighty tree. Likewise, God sees the potential that we as Christians can grow to become. We may dwell on our past failures, but God is looking to the future possibilities.
